The J.H. Simpson is in need of a renovation to its electrical system to help stop the hull corrosion that sidelined it in 2005. Bringing the Simpson up to the current ABYC Standards will also make it safer for our divers and rescue swimmers.

The team’s Klein 3900 Sonar System is over 10 years old. This is still the primary search tool used by the team during poor visibility and extended searching where divers are no longer able to keep diving.

The St. Clair County Dive Team uses underwater communications to talk with divers. Whether it is hardwired or wireless communications, the benefits are obvious.
